WELCOME TO THE CARIBBEAN ASSOCIATIONS GROUP

WHO WE ARE

Our Story

We, the Caribbean Associations Group (CAG), are an umbrella organisation for some well-established African Caribbean Groups in Reading. Our aim is to bring together the African Caribbean diaspora in Reading to speak with one voice to articulate their needs.  We deliver projects, engage influential bodies, and organise events for the mutual benefit of the diaspora.

The founding members of the CAG are Barbados & Friends Association – Reading (BAFA), Jamaica Society and Friends, and St Vincent & The Grenadines & Friends Association (Reading).  We would like more groups to join to increase the strength of our voices: “Together we are stronger”.
